This guy tried to pull someone over by waving his "carry badge" at them. It didn't go well when the law caught up with him. Granted, this guy seems extra dense but the badge seems to have cooked his goose (on top of everything else, of course).

Quote:
Worrell has a Florida concealed weapons permit, but the concealed weapons permit badge that he displayed to Bower through the window was not legitimate and is not issued with the permit.

Allen said impersonators often order fake badges or uniforms off the internet, and Worrell will lose his permit as a result of his arrest.

IMHO such badges are a bad idea, as has been discussed here previously. I also cannot fathom why someone would pay $89 or some $ close to that for one. I think that I saw them at a gun show for that price. I'd rather have $89 of ammo or reloading supplies.

I agree with rodentman. BAD IDEA....I am a proponent of concealed carry simply due to the fact that I don't want just anybody knowing I am carrying. In some situations I support OC as well but in general, I would prefer to have the bad guy not know I am carrying till they need to know.

Here I thought it was that old 'carry badge' thread being revived yet again. I was just going to look and see what page it made it to this time.

Right. They're not giving kids matches. No sir, not at all.

They should sell one that says DOUCHEBAG to eliminate any confusion for people who see them.

"He's got a gun! Call the police!"
"Wait...oh, I see. That explains it. Sir, the management bans douchebags on these premises and I must ask you to leave. We are posted."

I'm not optimistic. I tried banning stupid from my office. Doesn't work, co-workers still come in.

Does "I'm busy. You're stupid. Any other questions?" count as compliant?
