Then again it is the Minnesota National Guard...

I tend to think the Millitary installations and bases are off limits for carry.

Is a MN National Guard Armory a "military installation?"

A slight thread drift.

I asked a buddy of mine at drill not to long ago. If the 148th ANG (Duluth) was a state or federal instilation. SMSGT XXXXX said that it is a Federal instilation. Now this isn't in writing however he has been in Security Forces for many years, and I won't hold it against him that he is prior service Navy.

As for me, I have been up there sense '85, and have never drawn a check from MN. ALL my pay checks have always came from Denver, not one from MN. So I figure if someone is paying the bill odds are they have a finger in it.
