I searched but didn't see MAI listed. Dianne's company holiday party will be there, and it is in a not terribly nice neighborhood. The only reason we're considering going is because they'll have valet parking. But when I called their information line, the guy said they are posted.

Question: Since they are renting the space out to Northern Star Food, aren't they the landlord and therefore unable to lawfully post?

I plan on carrying either way, I'm just curious.

Why does it matter?

They can ask you to leave for any reason anyway.

I carry at the Ordway and Orchestra Hall whenever I'm there and I'm sure they'd be very much against that, yet I've never seen a sign.

Carry, and don't worry about it.

MIA is posted, but does nothing to "enforce" same. I wouldn't go open carrying, but I carry there on a regular basis. (My wife and I are members.)

Most (all?) of MIA's artists were worm poop a long time ago.

The Walker has the more modérné coutouré. You can actually tell what you are looking at 90% of the time at the MIA.

Indeed. The Walker mostly makes me go, "Huh?" I much prefer the MIA (particularly the Chinese section).

Unless you're encouraged to as part of the piece, that is. Yes, it happens.
