I saw no signs on Friday at the Fair. I think they've given it up as a lost cause.

No, unfortunately the signs were there.
I was there last night (Saturday the 3rd). The entrance was clearly posted

Clearly, there are some entrances posted and some not; which would make it an illegal posting, even if they could post legally, which they can't!
