I believe that the courts are still attached to the building, so the judge's order may just cover everything... I just left mine in the car. The posting is on the second automatic doors (inside).
I couldn't get away from the reflection.
EDIT: I colored it in, in case someone couldn't read it.

This sign bans only dangerous weapons, not guns as per the carry law require language. Probably refers to knives and clubs. You should be free to go with your permit and non-defective firearm

I think reaver3's adventures covered the topic in great detail. If this building is attached to a court in any way, the signage is enforcable (probably as contempt of court or somesuch) and you'd be safer (legally) not to be the test case.
That said, I've never been to this particular building and am not a Lawyer.

Good luck explaining THAT to the screeners at the Hennepin County Government Center in downtown Minneapolis. The exact same sign is posted there.
Of course, if you work at the Government Center, you don't go through the screening.

UPDATE
I was at this location (ridgedale) today and there was no sign. I did a look around and did not see any signs on the main doors or anywhere on the path to the second floor (service center). I did not bother with going to the court floor.
Has anyone heard of why this would change? I'm guessing if the court order was recinded or modified, they would do it very quietly. Hopefully the county attorney talked some sense into the judges.

I was at the Ridgedale library last weekend, I didn't see any signs posted on the way in.

The sign is back up at the Ridgedale Center (it's on the column as you enter.)
Ridgedale did some construction in the entryway over the past couple months, which seems to be when the sign disappeared.

I had luck getting the Southdale center to alter their posting on the library part of the complex. But in that case the library is virtually a seperate building, with its own entrance, and no internal connections between the court building and the library. Depending on the layout of this place you may be able to do the same.
