Smartcarry generally works unless metal detector is used.

I just ask if they have a warrant. They are usually so stunned that I just walk past.

Just curious...

Were you pocket carrying this time? Did they feel it and call it a cellphone?

Nope, I anticipated tighter-than-usual security and tucked it into my waistband, then covered it with my t-shirt. Upon entry, it's just a quick trip to the men's room to transfer it back into my pocket. I would have been made for sure if it was in a pocket. Good thing I'm smarter than $8/hr "security personnel."
I think a belly band would be a great carry method for situations like this. If they even touch your torso, it's almost always the back. Furthermore, a belly band (with the right shirt) can conceal a much larger firearm than a pocket.

Be careful there, Plaxico!

...for the entertainment of all...
About a year ago I had to take an unexpected trip to a not so nice part of MPLS. I was wearing a suit and tie and did not have a holster with me, just my XD-40 in the glove box. It was too big to put in a pocket so I thought, "huh, I'll just tighten my belt and tuck it into the back of my slacks..." RIGHT! I took one step and - clunk - down it slid, through the pants, and down my leg to bounce off the pavement.
That night I saw a rerun of Pulp Fiction, they showed the scene towards the end where Vince and Jules are in their 'dork' shorts and t-shirt -with rather large handguns tucked in the shorts they sauntered away. I need THAT holster!

In case you were wondering, the holster wasn't left in my pocket; the whole rig went into my waistband. I'm also not a millionaire thug carrying illegally with, apparently, no formal firearms training and a lack of common sense.

No pat down when using the suite / club level enterance, very light gate security. Apparently, they don't trust the plebs in the stands as much as the box holders.

Season ticket holder here, usually enter via Gate 1.
I don't carry because I plan on having a few beers. However, I pay pretty close attention to the pat-down they give just to see if I would have gotten through. I always wear a jersey hanging over my beltline which is loose enough that it doesn't reveal if I have anything on my beltline. I figure all told over the last five years, I'd have gotten through about 2/3 the time. Just enough that it would piss me off about having to walk back to my car if I did carry.
One time they hit the leatherman I always have strapped on my belt, and said "cellphone right" as he waved me through. Almost like he didn't even want to deal with whatever it could have been.

Saturday night they were patting down coats on the inside and outside of the coat with both hands. My bulge in the inside breast pocket of my coat was not my leatherman, but they didn't seem to care.

That's usually looking for recording equipment...
