To support a presentation I did regarding posting of businesses, I developed a brief PowerPoint presentation (6-8 minutes). I found it to be very effective, with one use leading to an organization making the decision to not post.

With Joel's help, it is available for your use should you find it may be helpful; the link is below. A few comments regarding how to use it most effectively:

1) You are the "star", the slides are merely a visual support to what you say.
2) One slide, number 8, offers opportunity to add emotion to the case for not posting--using this twice with groups told me that this is the key part of the presentation. The "notes" offer sample stories to go with the four pictures on this slide.
3) Be patient when transitioning from slide to slide...there is often a long pause (which will seem even longer in front of people!) and then the bullet points will dissolve in.

I offer this with the hope that it can be helpful to you with individuals, or especially when you are in a group situation. Good luck!
