Maybe, I've never shooped at BassPro. Are they definitely coming?

I have no inside knowledge, but that's what I've read.

In any event, it would be better to challenge mall management with BassPro on our side than now.

We don't need to challenge mall management. We just need to let the market forces work.

We're not fighting a legal battle, we're fighting a war of perceptions. And at that, we have the advantage. Every day someone notices those signs, she's reminded that 1, there are a lot of permit holders out there, and 2, they don't seem to be causing anyone any problems.

We want to keep it a war of perceptions, where we have the advantage. We don't want to push it into a legal battle, or worse yet, a legislative one.

or: Thank GOD the mall doesn't allow people with GUNS in here. Imagine what those NUTS would do if the mall didn't BAN them ...

since we're talking about perceptions and etc now, the average uninvolved person is more likely subjected to the various media bias pieces.Add to that general lack of need/interest == lack of attention and I don't see the signs as positive.

That said, I've heard anecdotes about Mayo removing signs because of influential / rich patrons asking if they had a gun problem in the area.

We don't have $500,000 to fight them off. They, the merchant class, have got it if they choose to spend it. Go to the 'net and read about all the problems gun owners are having in Oklahoma and Florida, etc.

Come on guys, just "shut up" and enjoy the benefits of our law.

The sign are gradually going away. If WE don't pick a fight, that will continue. Meanwhile, shop at Rosedale.

Sounds like good advice.

Or shop at Ridgedale, not a sign to be had anywhere.
I did have a bad experience there this afternoon however, I just found out that the ice cream place just outside of Sears on the second floor is gone. My favorite Nix mix popcorn. :(

Ohhh don't start this idea again for me, I so badly want to get some stickers and start sticking them on non compliant signs.

.....Though I'd probably get a whipping from Kimberman for informing the people why the signs aren't legit, tempting but it probably is better to leave sleeping dogs lie...

Not much of an activist, but I keep thinking about leathal weapon 4 where Mel keeps putting up pics of Danny in his underwear....

Still posted, I smart carried while taking some out of town relatives there (why do they want to go there?). Since I had a lot of bench time while the women were in the shops I never saw a LEO, just the occasional rent a cop. I did see one civilian carrying, she was using a carry fanny pack. :)

How do you know she was carrying? (I'm always curious as I've never spotted another person carrying unless I knew in advance they did.)

20/15 with glasses. Either I don't know what I'm looking for or there aren't many in the area who do.

Or, we are better at concealing than people think.

More than once I've gotten a hug from the wifey followed by a "I didn't know you were carrying today".

When ever I'm out with the wife anywhere, she often ask "are you carrying?" :?

I always answer "of course, I aways carry".

Even after 5 years she still often asks.

If she can't tell, I assume the sheepeople don't have a clue. 8)

I've not been carrying for a most of a week now.

I've been socially naked.

My permit expired on the 25th, and I hadn't submitted my renewal application until the 3rd.

Oops!
