It's a darn good thing that people can't carry at post offices, someone might get hurt. Wait a minute, there's a news flash on the TV, I'll be right back.............

Sorry, I had to go to work. Looks like more P.O.victims in a federal disarmement zone. Women shooter this time.

Woman shooter at mail distribution center in CA. Shot 7, 6 dead, plus then killed herself. Ex-postal employee. By now wouldn't you think they'd be encouraging people to carry legally? If nothing else, maybe to reduce the body count when something like this happens?
Maybe one of the topics at the CCRN meeting should be making companies with no-guns policies liable for their workers saftey. If they're going to ban the best means of defense available, then they should be able, and willing, to gaurantee their safety.

I know we've discussed this before, but I ran into this link on THR that really seems to nail down the legality of carrying in a popst office. I think I'd now feel quite comfortable doing so.

I do agree with the opinion on THR's page.
Maybe we can get bab to go in and ask questions...
On another site (PdO, Glocktalk?), someone actually called around and asked post office officials, but all they got was the standard "you'll be arrested...". Someone really needs to nail down what rule # they'd be "breaking". If they say the same rule on THR, then we can dispute.
