Burnsville still is. I went in anyway. Benefited from being about to play with the cameras, now I'll go buy online armed with my knowledge while saving a few bucks.

National Camera Exchange reminds me of a pawnshop that caters to camera owners. Every item is outrageously overpriced even if it's used...

Hopefully they'll declare bankruptcy in the near future. The world doesn't need more worthless businesses.

Golden Valley is still posted as of July 10th 2009. Albeit with a sign that is non-compliant.

I had numerous (lengthy) exchanges with the manager. He is pretty much set in his way and does not think he is losing business by exercising "his rights". Was actually scared that an armed customer might go off the deep end and become homicidal. Must have some great customer service...

He is also is fully aware that his sign is not legal. Informed me that all stores have the same policy even if not posted.

If you want a lecture on constitutional rights, and the mass killing of children by guns, call and ask for Jon Liss.

Good Luck with that.

Adorama & B&H photo is where I eventually bought my new Nikon system. Saved real bucks in addition to sales tax.
