Yes, the IFIA or Independent Firearms Instructor Association has been certified by the DPS/BCA. I would be happy to discuss certification with anyone and/or help format your package if you decide to go that route.
PM or call Tom @651-731-9724

Also would like to say that the people that I have had contact with on this forum have been great. Thanks to all.

Tom :)

PRESS RELEASE

TO: All Media Outlets and Interested Parties
FROM: IFIA International Headquarters
RE: Rosenberg Certification

IFIA is pleased to announce that Mr. J. Rosenberg of Mpls. has successfully completed the IFIA Firearms Instructor course. Mr. Rosenberg completed the first phases in late September 05 and on Dec 10 completed the last phase…the live fire exercise. It seems that Mr. R. needed extra time (9 + weeks) to ensure that he would pass the COF. One can only speculate as to how many hours and rounds it took to attain the required proficiency.
We welcome Mr. Rosenberg to our organization.

PS. (tongue no longer in cheek) actually, we finally met up @ BPR last sat and ran through a COF to officially certify him. Now all I have to do is print up and mail him a certificate.

Methinks that Mr. Rosenberg is the front runner for the most certifications held by an instructor. :) Sounds like a plan to follow!
