As Saturday is the second one this month, will there be a breakfast, and will it be at Curran's?

As usual, I am tied up doing a permit to carry class at Gander Mountain.

One of these days, be it good or bad, I will make one.

The coming Saturday is the second of the month and would be our normal breakfast day, but we agreed at the last breakfast to move to the third Saturday each month to accomodate my scooter schedule.

So, third Saturday or Second WOTHK?

Third Saturday is correct, so the next CCW breakfast will be on the 15th. Currently planning on returning to Curran's as everyone seemed to like it and we had a breat turn-out last month. I'd do an announcement next week.

I thought that this was ultimately going to be a rotating place?? It seems as if everybody is stuck on having breakfasts in Minneapolis. Count me out until there is some compromise and it starts to include more than just the Minneapolitans.

I am somewhat sympathetic, since I live in Carver County, but Minneapolis is centrally located, and I'm sure no discrimination is intented.

That said, I'll nominate Pastrami Jack's in Eden Prairie for next month.

It's an easy drive for me, Goalie, Pinnacle, Pakrat, and others in the west metro, and it's high time that we eat some Jew food.

Lox and load...

Oh, now that looks like something I would have gotten at Happy Jack's at Lawrence and Sheridan in Chicago way long ago. (It's a neighborhood convenience store now.)

I will leave it up to WOTHK as he started this, and I know how hard it is to get a diverse group of people to come to a particular place.

(where is the hearding Cats emoticon?)

Back on topic, I'm probably going to be able to make for this one (assuming it is still somewhere near Mpls), but only if we have an establishment picked. :D

I would say that Mpls or St. Paul are the best places to have it, as they are more centrally located for the majority of people. I could suggest other Mpls locations (but we seem to have several of those), but I'm thin on St. Paul suggestions.

If we were thinking of doing it in the burbs, maybe someone could suggest a place near one of the local ranges, it would give an additional reason to travel that direction :)

It is 15.1 miles from Pastrami Jack's to BPR
It is 14.3 miles to Bill's Robbinsdale location.

I can't make it this month but the MErmaid is VERY convenient for me and very close to Bill's North.

I've got 14.3 miles (even though it doesn't look like the most direct route) for BPR... so there!
link

EDIT- Holy crap, I did Bills (thinking you may have swapped the numbers) and google has it as 18.4 miles. and this is a very direct route.
