Small name change ......
This month's breakfast will again be at Curran's as this seems a popular location. I'm open to suggestions for next month. There have already been a couple and we'll discuss them later.
Curran's Restauant 4201 Nicollet Avenue South Minneapolis http://www.curransrestaurant.com
Hope to see a bunch of you there!!

I'll try to make it again; it was fun.
This one will take place, btw, on the fifteenth anniversary of my first DGU.

Hope you can make it. Perhaps a mamosa toast to your DGU would be in order!

We had a great turnout on Saturday - 11 TCC'ers! Thanks a lot to everyone who was there!
Based on the response, it seems that Curran's is a pretty good location for this little get-together. However, it doesn't matter to me where we meet. I'm willing to entertain nominations for different venues. We have plenty of time before the next breakfast, so nominate away, and we'll see what the consensus is!
Thanks again to everyone who showed up!

Though I didn't attend this last breakfast, I enjoyed the previous one and I like Currans. Here's a possible solution for those who can't travel easily to the cities.
Every other month we choose (from the many volunteers) a sponsor for the breakfast that will arrange the location and coordinate with TomK to ensure everything goes smoothly with the planning. We should be able to select the sponsor with almost two months lead time allowing sufficient time to make the arrangements for the venue and individuals to make plans to attend.
I think this would allow everyone to be satisfied with where the breakfast will be held, at least some of the time. Also, if you’re not willing to help out with arranging the breakfast in your area, you have no room to complain about it not being held close enough to you.
The remaining six months we could meet at Currans as this is a central location accessible to a fairly large number of us. Lastly, in case there is no sponsor, Currans can be our fall back position.

I think this is an excellent idea! Anybody have a problem with it?

Works for Kay and I, But we are pretty easy to please, our main conserns are non-smoking (we have asthma) and a place to park the truck.
Ooh, and not to expensive.
