FWIW, I'm planning on being there.

I am on-call, but if they don't have me at the hospital, scrubbed in and wrapped in a lead apron, I'll be there.

Looks like we're going to have a good turnout! Excellent! Pastrami Jack's know we're coming and hopefully will be ready for us. See you all in the morning!!

Well, I'd say 46 people counts as a good turnout.

I had fun. Outstanding turnout. I wonder if that can be repeated.

Public thanks to JDR for my wedding present.

Thanks to A Brit for Miami Vice.

Thanks to everyone who is concerned about my job hunt (almost everyone I met).

It was pretty hard to keep track of names. I'm not the best at that. What's wierd is, I remembered a few faces, even though I don't think I ever had met some people. It was like Deja Vu.

If someone wants to buy name badge supplies, I worked up a possible official name badge:

I suppose I could make a template in Word for people to print up their own.

I don't mind helping with the costs, but posting a template would be a thing to I think :)

It might be nice if it could be vertical so you could were it around your neck like my wife's Medtronic ID.

Valleyfair's ValleySCARE is looking for a few good ghouls to work weekends in October. If you or anyone else is interested there's an online application at

http://www.valleyscare.com/public/employment/index.cfm

Tell them you were referred by M. King :D

I know how you feel about the job hunt, mine has been going on for about a year. The part that really sucks is that I am a teacher so openings come only twice a year (usually.)

Good luck on the hunt.

I'd say! Holy Cow! I think we overwhelmed poor Jack's. They did a pretty good job, though, considering how we descended upon them.

The name tag idea came up more than once yesterday. I think it's a good one - especially with the number of people we've been having. That's something we can work on this month.

Thanks to everyone who showed up! Looking forward to next month at
Curran's!

I think we drained them of most all their entire stock of coffee. They kept running out and trying to keep up with the demand and continually ran out. The fact that they served us all and billed individually must have been a lot of work.

I know a tip was calculated in the bill, but I gave the waitress an extra tip for all the work involved.

Also name tags with your handle (if you have one) on top and your real name below would go a long way in helping (me at least) remember people.

Just regular old stick on name tags would work for that. However if we really want to get fancy (Pakrat?) a template that you can insert your Avatar on top and add (In nice bold font) your handle and your real name below would be really cool! :D

Oh, and your welcome Pakrat.

Damn, I just described exactly what you offered up as an example, Pakrat. I should re-read the posts sometimes.

Say Pakrat does your address start with a street number of 5XX, or 2XX? I have managed to obtain that gift for you that I was telling you about at the breakfast. I would like to mail it out to you, but there are two of "you" in Hopkins.
