I don't mind paying 30 bucks for a day's shooting, but what about everyone else?

That's why I'm trying to negotiate a lower price!

OK,

Here's the Deal!

We can use the range in Huchinson (Gopher Campfire Club) from 1pm on 4/28 until basically until dusk. What I am going to need to do is set up a match (how does a steel match sound) and we can then shoot the stipulated courses of fire and any other courses we choose to setup. The only down side is that the "match" must be open to all comers, no big deal. The cost for the afternoon will be $10, but if anyone would like an annual membership, the price is $30 for all you can shoot dawn to dusk providing sanctiond matches are not scheduled.

Everyone is welcome to come and shoot, but I think we should have some kind of Brits v Americans to spice things up a bit. To make this worthwhile, I think we should have at least 8 or 10 shooters. So, please let me know if you can make it so I can firm up the arrangements.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

A word of warning,

Shooting reactive (steel) targets is addictive and you can expend more ammunition than you planned, bring plenty

Bonus

The litttle Crow Gun Store is about five minutes drive from the range, so if you have needs, they might be able to help fill your gun safe.

If it is a Brits v Americans (Webly v.s. Colt?), then I expect that there must be a pub nearby where all can collect and unwind?...........

....and thanks for setting this up!

That day is my Mom's birthday, and she lives in Hutchinson. What could be better than blasting away for a while, then having some birthday cake? Count me in, and proably the little woman as well.

That is near the end of the semester, but I will see what I can do.

Seeing as how I love steel I will try VERY hard to be there. :)

Don't wimp out because of school, I'm carrying a full grad school credit load this term and can still find an afternoon (as long as I use my time well) to go shooting. :D
