It's that time again. come on over, get your hands into things, admire Srigs' holsters and chew the fat with like minded people of various skill levels.

PM me for address/contact / directions.

I just went to Tandy and got all the stuff to make my first holster(s). (A sholder of 7oz, an awl, stitching grover, an overstitch wheel... ect) This could be fun.

I'll try to make it there around 8:30 or so.

Hmmmm.... tempting. And my taxes will be done. We'll see if I can afford some leather.

I have a question, where would I get the leather and tools needed for making a holster? I'm on the west side of town btw.

Tandy Leather Factory has a very nice selection of leather and the tools you need. I'm sure that there will be tools that you can beg, borrow and steal at the meeting.

Tandy has a location off of 494 and Portland in Bloomington

I bought a kit that had most of the stitching tools and a book showing me how to sew leather properly... I think it cost me about $35 or so.

I'll be there. Also there is a Tandy on White Bear Ave south of 36 about 4 miles.
