Mom and Dad say thanks,

Mom says she will send one of her homemade coffee cakes with.

It's made old school. Her pans are about 30 years old. :D :D :D

You got to love old school coffee cake! My grandmother made the best (don't we always say that) and eat it in the kitchen while getting ready to go to church.

Take care of your Mom because you only have one! I hope to make it to the reschedule. :)

Post subject:  New rescheduled dates, July 15th

Looking at the club schedule and everything.

July 15th will be a good day.
Shooting can start as early as 7 AM.

There is no caliber restriction on this.
Tannerite is welcome

Minimum range if you bring steel targets is 25 yards for pistol, 100 yards for rifle. Safety glasses and hearing protection required.

There is space available for camping and RV's that would like to come doen the day or night before. The range is open.

For non-members, there is a $10 cover.

Membership is $35 for the year or $100 for 3 years.

Got it on my calendar. I'll make it to one of these things yet!

(My father-in-law got divorced long ago from my mother-in-law under somewhat scandalous circumstances, such that he is not invited to family functions. I used to think, 'wow, that guy screwed up his life', but I'm starting to suspect that he's a genius. He never has to help people move, either.)

This works great for me --- I was in Chicago on May 20.

Jon: I hope your mom and dad are doing OK.

They are doing better. Dad unfortunately decided to stay home from his annual fishing trip to Canada.

Did you mean maximum range?

I've gotten more interested in this event, I might have to make it.

Steel has proven to send ricochets back from 25 yards with pistol and even from 100 yards with steel.

Anything closer than that and you are really asking to get hurt. If it is pock marked, I won't let it get shot at either. I have had .30-06 rounds sent back to be from 100 yards due to this as well.
