I didn't know such a thing existed. It must kick like a banshee!

Whoa, sorry! I'm an idiot. I'll go fix that ASAP.

OK, I got it straight now, glock+ipod is the other young guy -- the one wearing the Glock! Duh.

Speaking of glock+ipod, farmerj* ran both he and I against the timer on some speed drills drawing from the holster and I wasn't doing terrible but glock+ipod's way faster than me! I might have to take that holster class.

I got to shoot JFettig's unrecognizable 10/22 also. The really neat thing is that hose you see...that is actually a straw that you insert into your Pepsi and you can shoot and sip at the same time. Or not. :)

That was one fine unique gun.

What does it really do?

It's the trigger actually...
Jon is quite the engineering genius on some of the stuff he had with him.

That's actually a brake cable that connects the trigger to the original trigger back in the stock. Considering the arrangement, I didn't think the trigger was bad! I understand that bullpups typically have crappy triggers because there has to be some such lonnnngg connector between the trigger up front and the firing mechanism back where the bolt is. I was thinking about that today, and it came to me that that might be a good application for an electric trigger like some target guns have.

Nah, really, it's the magazine and the shoe string for that new full auto bull up that ruger wanted to make.

They jst couldn't figure out how to do them both at once.

I've done a few mods on my 10/22, but nothing like that. Dang!

Oh, yeah, there's such a thing: the Ligamec Ultralite 50. But no, with a 1" butt pad & a bipod, sitting at a bench and holding on tight, it's not too bad. Greg says it's like a 12 gauge.

I wish I'd got a picture of the smile on farmerj's face when he shot it.

It MIGHT become available with the right persuasion.

Yup, its the trigger "transfer bar". Regarding the electric trigger, it would be awesome and easy enough to do BUT... according to ATF, Semi-auto+electric trigger=Machine Gun :(

Those .50s were fun! I shot the one with the much different AR lower. The other one had an actual single shot AR lower on it and iron sights.

Damn them! So much for my million-dollar idea. See how oppressive regulation stifles free enterprise? I suppose they won't like my depleted uranium .357 ammo either.

Actually I was amused -- and impressed -- by how up-to-the-minute you & Greg are on BATFE rulings.

I guess we like to get the most out of our hobbies without getting in trouble
