I've been hearing the trailers for the special that KSTP news team is doing on gun laws in MN. According to the trailer, the gist is that doing something that is perfectly legal in one place, can make you a criminal if doing it somewhere else. Sounds like it could be tipped in our direction, but you know how sound bites often belie the underlying story. Still, KSTP / Hubbard has at times been surprisingly objective.
I'd be interested in your comments after the show tonight (9/23) at 10:00pm.
Wasn't sure whether to post this under MN Politics or Carry Issues - thought it could go either way, but if someone wants to move it, that's ok.

From the trailer, it looks to me like it's about realistic non-guns -- Airsofts, whatever. Use of those for, say a robbery is not only not nice, but IIRC runs you into the whole armed robbery thing, even if the gun is fake.
