Joel,
Who was your carry instructor? You got the printed shirt better than the solid shirt part right. It is just that the shirt is suppose to go over the carry not under. Did your instructor cover this? :P

Joel Rosenberg, a firearms instructor in Minneapolis, said he regularly carries a gun to the city's airport and has not heard of any problems caused by the policy.

"People who are law-abiding are going to be law-abiding whether they have a .38 snubby on their hip or not," he said.

At least they included one comment from you in the article. They could have let you comment more. IMHO

Well, I had about a twenty-minute conversation with the reporter, and went over a fair amount of stuff. Since I'm of the opinion that my thoughts are pretty sound, I can't disagree, but a lot of the time we spent around other stuff.

That said, I wish she'd said something about why somebody might want to carry to, in, and from the airport; we spent a fair amount of time on that. ("I'd rather not be mugged in the parking lot, or get killed if I end up in a fender-bender with some nutcase on the way to or from the airport.")

The article is informed by the belief that it's all about some sort of massive public shooting thing, and I don't think it is.

Long-time lurker, first time poster.

I neglected to capture a picture, but the article (Associated Press) came up on my Wii in the 'News Channel' here two or three days ago, as well.

In 2002, an Egyptian immigrant killed two people and wounded several others near a ticket counter at the Los Angeles airport before he was shot to death by an El Al Israel Airlines security guard.

It is a good thing that the propagandi... er, I mean, good thing that the journalist from MSNBC that wrote this article mentioned this, because - you know - the terrorist would not have shot up that El Al counter had guns been banned.

Gotta love the MSM.
