Clearly the election politics posturing hasn't worked yet.

Is there any recourse in the courts to get the Commissioner to comply with the law? And if there is, costs aside, is this approach undesirable because it'd be professional suicide to challenge the Commissioner's office with a lawsuit.

My understanding is that you'd have to have standing, which would mean being a resident of a state that should be recognized, but isn't AND coming here while carrying AND getting caught AND be willing to pay for an attorney to do the fighting for you.

So this is best understood as a political problem, rather than one of (say) ineptitude, obstreperousness, or the unripeness of time?

Would it be possible to start a legal fund, hire a willing attorney, and sue the State of Minnesota to expand reciprocity?

If it's possible how much would the attorney's fees run (best guess)?

Obviously withholding campaign contributions have done nothing. So why not put that money to work in the PTC crowd's favor... Who knows maybe the NRA or other pro gun group would get involved if it were a serious movement.

Oh duh sorry for the the repeat Ree I didn't read page 2 before posting this...
