I'm confused, what is the concern with the StarTribune or for that matter anyone tracing anything back to this site. Are we closet concerned citizen?

I'd say this is a safety issue for kids. In this day and age I wouldn't want my kids running around a city with a replica gun.

Years ago maybe, but not in today's world

Kids do stupid things thinking they're invinceable. It's just a matter of time before more get shot by police. And you can't blame the police either.

This has nothing to do with gun rights etc. It's protecting your children from getting shot.

If a store wants to ban them, that's their decision.

If they see too many votes (that they don't agree with) being referred from one site, they may decide to nullify them.
