Understandable. I called it as I saw/see it because:
1. Tevlin's not an idiot; he'd been reading the black helicopter crowd, and was wondering if there was really any story here, or just ODS paranoia. I think there is a story here, and thought it in everybody's interest to help shape it, rather than have him go on to the next guy in his Rolodex.
2. I calls 'em as I sees 'em, anyway.
If nobody was talking nonsense about, oh, "
get your permit now and be sure to be grand fathered (sic) in!" I wouldn't feel it necessary to dismiss the hysteria, as there wouldn't be, but there is.
