Are there any pawnshops in the south metro that carry interesting weapons?

Depending on what you find interesting, Metro Pawn & Gun, 7529 Lyndale Ave S. in Richfield. (I didn't know they had a web site til now, cool.)

That one in Hastings, on the south end of town, is kinda cool sometimes. I've never bought anything there. There's also one in Faribault, but they never have much, and what they do have is overpriced.

A friend of mine who has owned a pawnshop used to run a radio ad during deer season for used rifles. It went something like this..

"the deer don't care if they get shot with a new rifle or a used one. C'mon in and take a look at our selection...."

They also offer PTC classes. Not many instructors offer New Hampshire.

NH is a freebie permit. Seriously. Get your MN permit, make a copy of it and your license, fill out the form and mail it out. easy peasy

:) Not many instructors will try to sell you their share of the Brooklyn Bridge, either.

Honest, I'm a big fan of the New Hampshire permit, and I give out the application in every one of my classes; I refer to it as, "an IQ test, that nobody with twenty bucks should flunk." The big deal around here is that it's the quick and easy way for anybody but a North Dakotan to get a ND permit, and why I've never bothered to become a ND permit test admin. (The calculation would be different if, like Horvick, I lived near ND and had a fair number of ND students.)

But it's a gimme -- all you need is the twenty bucks and a valid permit from anywhere else.

Well, at least they're not promoting the stupid carry badges. On the website, that is.
