Loaded handgun found in St. Paul gas station restroomUpdated: 2/10/2009 8:21:32 AM
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- A loaded handgun turned up in a St. Paul gas station restroom just after an armored-car guard used the facilities.
A store employee found the gun in the SuperAmerica restroom just after 10 a.m. Friday.
A report taken by St. Paul police says another employee recalled seeing the guard leave the gas station with an empty holster.
The guard had not returned to the business by 11:30 a.m., and the gun was turned over to the police department's crime lab.
SuperAmerica would not divulge the name of its money courier, and the police report contained no information on the armored-car company.
