In a story on why crime is down in mpls and Henn county. Sheriff Stanek shows a table full of guns.

Channel 5 might be receptive to a counter argument that 15,000 Pistol Permit Holders may be a deterrent to crime.

Who do we have to make that argument on camera....we need to recruit some Hot Blondes w/ verbal skills to be the SpokesModel for armed citizens.

Seriously, ...an add in Craigslist "Telegenic Female Spokesmodel needed" "Firearms enthusiast / self-defense experience preferred" "Not-for-profit Volunteer position to argue Pro-Firearms self-defense issues on Local TV"

That Hot Blonde College Girl is out there...she's a student at the U. She grew up on a farm. She and her Dad and her brothers are hunters. and she owns a revolver.

She needs to get equal time w/ Dorky-Looking Rick Stanek and his table full of scarey guns.

The TV Bozos would not be able to resist interviewing a Bra-Less Busty Blonde in a tight T-shirt (w/ gun graphics) giving the pro-carry side of the argument...they really are suckers for pretty girls.

OK...I place the ad...who volunteers to coach the spokes model...

You get the spokes model and I will be glad to help prepare her for the interview.

If anyone saw Stanek on TV tonight...you would have been amazed at what a dork this guy is...sorry. He was babbling plattitudes about guns, gangs, and crime....I could see our Spokesmodel showing up at this BORING press conference (in the tight-t-shirt)....and all the cameras would be following her....Could you imaging how pissed Stanek would be that he got upstaged by some college girl talking sense about self-defense and the MCPPA?

Who knows where this will lead....but there needs to be some GUERRILLA THEATRE rebuttal of some of the anti crap on TV.

Possibly her compensation could be training by some of the instructors here / range passes /ammo / gift certificates to Victoria's Secret.

Could this be connected to some of the Carrying on Campus groups?

Sounds good. I'll make the call:

"Hi, Kaitlin? Andrew from MADFI. Remember, I got together the instructors to take the College Republicans shooting? Yeah, that's me! How's it going? Oh, you graduated? Magna cum laude? Awesome. Hey, listen, I need your tits in a tight t-shirt to go on TV. It's for gun rights. Kaitlin? Hello? Hello? ..."

Is that guy vision impaired? Also, the young female in the pic already works for gun rights. She's Miss Saiga. I'd post a link, but the thread over there is NSFW.

Andrew....you been around a college campus lately???

I'm a professional photographer and there's plenty of fun loving "Libertine" women 18-24 roaming the green at Northrup Hall who would strip naked for a fun photoshoot in an instant for free !!!.........stop the presses...let me check the Craigs' list ad...it's been up for a few hours...

OK I got the first response...

her website says something about "Dizobedient Wimmenz" here's a link to her "video portfolio"[url]http://www.mnartists.org/uploads/users/user_8624/19be4ec58ac8a79bf6cce6f471c0074b/19be4ec58ac8a79bf6cce6f471c0074b.wmv[url]

This one may not be the perfect candidate...but visualize the lovely women in Oleg Volk posters....I'd like to see one of them come alive and walk the streets of Minneapolis...and embarras the pompous Jackasses from Politicians to Sheriffs to Anti-Activists.

Once the concept of "Hot Blonde in Tight T-Shirt for Gun Rights" is accepted...implementing it will not be that hard.

There are a lot of people who are gonna think less of me as a man, but the pic at the top of this thread just looks... off.

Her eyes are spaced kinda funny, like maybe her mom drank a bottle or two of scotch while she was in uetero.

I dunno; the rest of the idea is a good one...

I think the value of the proposition can be explained to a, err, willing, smart, and decorative young woman in a non-creepy way, starting with, "Look: most of the guys involved in this stuff are, well guys, who have faces that are barely good enough for radio . . . "

But the smart and willing are even more important than the decorative, as neat as that is. And there are some real serious issues that have to be discussed with anybody new to this in advance, because you don't ask your folks to take risks without explaining to them what you think those risks are.

So: I'll offer to help, but I really think it's important to remember that stuff. (And I'm not saying the other volunteers haven't thought about it, but nobody in this thread has mentioned it yet.)

Is this thread going somewhere? By that I mean somewhere useful?

I'm as game as the next guy to see a bare tit but what is the end goal here?

I'll field that one... the end goal is to dispell to the view that gun-owners are all extras from the cast of Deliverence. The end goal is to show that there are in fact attractive women who find that guns are an alternative to being a completely helpless victim if trouble comes knocking; to show that it's okay to own guns and be an attractive woman at the same time (and not one of those dippy bimbos from the "Guns and Bikins" videos that I've heard of).

We all know from basic marketing that sex appeal can sell a product a lot more effectively than raw statistics and diagrams.

I my most respectful tone: I would much rather see a Charlton Heston type using grey matter to elucidate the finer points of firearm ownership than see a Linda Lovelace wannabe trying to take as much of a Buntline Special down her throat muzzle first.

Notice that there are many different levels of sex-appeal. The vulgar borderline soft-core pornographic stuff that goes over the top... these are the "Girls and Guns" videos that are pure crap.

Then there are the middle ground. These are the cotton t-shirt in an extremely cold room photos. The Laura Croft "Tomb Raider" videos. Not too detrimental, but not too much of a help, either.

Then there are the genuinely attractive ones... Oleg Volks work; an attractive empowered and usually (at least at face value) woman taking responsibility for her own safety. The professional office working woman, carrying under office attire.

Sex-appeal doesn't have to involve deep-throating an Ithica 12 gauge, or cleaning a .357 Magnum like it's a lollipop. It can be very tasteful and at the same time very proactive.
