For those folks who are new here:
You can learn a little from watching two assholes go at it. You can learn a lot more when you watch two knowledgeable people, with different backgrounds, discuss differences. That's what this is all about:
Kimberman is a very experienced and nationally respected law professor; Tman is a good, solid, service-oriented cop.
Hence the interest.

I believe in taking my information in small bites. If that means having to observe assholes going at each other I guess I will have to go spend more time at MNGunTalk.
Oh, with all due respect, etc.

As I said before, I couldn't really care less if you're recording our encounter.
For the short duration of a traffic stop, to which I mostly refer, I don't want to see anything in your hands that I haven't asked you to hold. Cell phone? Or is it a knife or gun?
Put it down and leave it on the seat, for Pete's sake.

Makes sense. The shirt pocket is also a good place for a recorder. Mounting a video recorder to one's shoulder holster is a bit over the top, though, and I don't think anybody else should do it.

Me, of course.

At some point, you will have to make the thing uplink its recording directly to the internet, in case some one (ahem) decides to confiscate your recording media.
