I don't know if this on topic of carry issues but I'd thought I'd post it here anyway.
I went to a Wells Fargo today here in Downtown Minneapolis and as usual there was a Minneapolis police officer sitting there looking really bored.
I didn't think about it at first because everytime I visit there is always a cop on duty. I might add the bank is not located in a bad area of town. There are no LEO's when I visit the Cottage Grove branch.
I have also noticed Minneapolis PO's in a liquor store "on guard" near the college campus. Hardly a bad neighborhood.
What's the deal? Does Wells Fargo or Liquor Depot pay the city of Minneapolis for it's services or do the taxpayers?
I thought there was a shortage of Minneapolis LEO's? Is this the Mpls. Chief's plan to solve crime here?
I can think of a few neighborhoods who could use that very bored cop sitting protecting "Federally Insured Money".
I may have to make some calls.
