Okay, most people here are not novice shooters, but if you are, or you know someone who would like a safe, low-pressure introduction to shooting and safety, please pass along this info.

-----------------------------------------------------------

The Pink Pistols Twin Cities will be hosting a New
Friends event on Sunday, August 14, featuring an
introduction to gun safety and shooting by certified
instructor and Pink Pistols member Joel Rosenberg.

After the informational session, you will have an
opportunity, if you wish, to shoot at the range under
the supervision of Joel or another experienced Pink
Pistols volunteer.

All you need to bring is yourself, a willingness to
learn, and $16 for range fees. We will provide
instruction, equipment and ammunition.

Please RSVP by sending an email to Matt Payne at
matthewpayne38 (at) yahoo.com.
Details:

We'll meet at 2 p.m. the Wilde Roast Cafe (located at
the corner of Hennepin and Central Avenues in
Northeast Minneapolis - for a map, see their web site
at http://www.wilderoastcafe.com/location.htm), then
move on to Bill's Gun Shop and Range in Robbinsdale
(Near Hwy 100 and Cty 9 - for a map, see their web
site at http://tinyurl.com/cy4sl)

Questions? Please email Matt Payne at
matthewpayne38 (at) yahoo.com.

See you there!

Is this something that happens fairly regularly? My wife is interested but already has plans for Sunday.

The PPs are really great about helping beginners start out; it'll happen again.

No guarantees, but it would be a good bet.
