 More Minneapolis permit to purchase silliness!

Looks like this may be happening elsewhere as well.
No permit to purchase licenses until Sept 8th??

ETA: No, this was another incident in MPLS.

I applied around August 7th with the Minneapolis Sheriffs office and the letter they sent me was dated September 3rd. (During the convention)

I believe I received my permit on the 5th or 6th but unfortunately I wasn't checking my mail during that time.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office handles Carry Permits.
The Minneapolis PD handles Transferee aka Purchase Permits.

We might have mixed signals here. You're talking about a Carry permit, right? The OP in this thread was about Transferee aka Purchase Permits.

Yeah I got mixed up... I was talking about my carry permit.
