To all forum members who would like to learn to shoot NRA High Power Rifle.
Post 435 Gun Club is hosting a Service Rifle Clinic June 9th at our facility south of Lakeville. Our CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) club will also be shooting practice the 1st and 3rd Tuesday nights of the month (May through mid September) with matches shot the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Wow, 111 views and I'm the first to reply??? Must be a lot of pistol shooters around here.

I've already emailed you that I'm coming, and asking friends to come too. Thanks for posting this here. That is how I found out about it. I've been looking for something like this since I got my M1. 8)

I've always wanted to try shooting service rifle, and I thought this was a great opportunity. But then I realized that I would undoubtedly be hooked after the first time. So I started thinking about drive time (1 1/2 hours each way) plus costs, and decided I'd better not give in to temptation.

If the drive time is the only thing holding you back, Gopher Rifle & Revolver (Harris MN) is having a clinic May 12th. That might be a bit closer for you.

I don't have the particulars of their program, but if your interested I can put you in contact with the people in charge.

Ooh, temptation. They would definitely be closer.
I'm just afraid of adding something else to my plate. I already shoot trap and bullseye (.22 only, so far). I don't know how much more I can add.
