I plan to hit it on Thursday since I will be at the Game Fair on Friday.

This seems like a pretty good deal, a cut and paste from Streicher's web site. -

Bring in any pair of gently used (wearable) pants as a donation, and receive 50%-off any new pair of 5.11 Tactical brand pants. There is no limit to the amount of pants you may donate. Purchase of new pants at 50% off is available on a 1:1, donation:purchase basis. Available to walk-in retail traffic on the days of the event only, and limited to current stock on-hand.

Hmm, my mother-in-law just bought me several pairs of pants I don't especially care for.

I know what you are thinking, but just because they still have the factory tags on them, I don't think you will get more than the 50% that they advertise.

Save one pair to wear at family functions. You get points for that.

I just heard about the Game Fair last week from a co-worker, never heard of it before. What exactly is it, and where is it. Is it this weekend only?

Game Fair is two weekend, August 8th, 9th and 10th and then again on the 15th, 16th and 17th. Pretty much geared around the hunting dog and hunting. We usually go on the opening Friday.

I scored a Safariland 6281 concealment holster for $1.44 on clearance at Streichers Days.

Got a ballcap for 12¢.

3 pairs of 5.11 pants for $20.00 a pair.

4 pairs of handcuffs for $5.44 each.

26 uniform shirts for $50.00 total.

2 uniform jackets for $9.00 each.

A pretty good haul.

Traded in all my pants that were not 5.11 as well as buying other items. Good deals.
