Anyway, I get out of my car and walk up to the site superintendent, a guy in his 50's, already waiting for me. I say hello, he says hello, and then points to a sign that says "Personal protection equipment required beyond this point. Available from the security office." I was still on "auto-pilot" from listening and responding to voice mails in my car while driving, so I just opened my coat and pointed to my IWB 1911 with my eyes and said "I am all set". The superintendent didn't miss a beat and said "That's great, but I also need you to wear a helmet."
