Has anybody watched any of the videos on defensive handgun techniques, such as video's by Ben Cooley or others that are out there for sale?

I have a couple of the Matt Burkett videos that deal with competition techniques and training. They seem pretty good, but at times seem boring, but that's maybe because he is going over basics that I already use.

So any input or maybe recommendations on any videos that deal with personal defense, combat handgun techniques, etc.?

I have seven or eight of them. 8)

They are all informative in various degrees. I would be happy to loan them out to just about anyone who could benefit from them. Unfortunately, I just give them to someone to watch and return. I must be getting to old….I cannot remember who I loaned them to.

I assume they will return them soon, and I will be able to loan them out again.

Maybe I went overboard, but I couldn't decide which training DVD's to get, so I ordered both -

CLOSE-RANGE GUNFIGHTING
Reality-Based Firearms Training for Realistic Situations
by Gabriel Suarez

and

FIGHTING MINDSET
by Ben Cooley

Should have done this earlier when we had cold and snow. With the weather starting to warm up a bit, it is going to be a lot harder to find time to watch movies.

Actually, Mark, you are. The way to get yourself out of the time out chair would be to take a deep breath, take something more than a month off the board, and give me a buzz; let's talk about this sometime in, say, mid-May, after you've had a chance to think about behaving better here.

It's up to you; you've got my phone number, and my email address.

But yes, Mark, until sometime well after April 24, your privilege -- and I emphasize the word privilege -- to post on the Forum has been revoked.

All in all, I think that's pretty clear.
