With all the talk about the rules changing (uptown shooting), how criminals don't follow the rules... It hit me: The US has become what we fought against 200 years ago.

Think about it, we pretty much won our independence fighting gorilla style against a country that followed the rules so blindly that they didn't know what to do. Now, the criminals are using that same strategy against people that are governed by Rules.

Obviously I can't call for a revolution... But, this should be a wake up call for everyone. Not trying to be insultive- We are still sheep. Well, hopefully we are more wolves in sheep clothing. But, we are still running with sheep.

I prefer well armed shepard, but thats just me...

it is a revolution - against the laws established by our forefathers to protect law abiding citizens - Except this time the Redcoats are the scumbag murdering and robbing gang bangers that limit our freedoms becuase we all need to follow the rules becuase we actually have fear of law - whereas they dont. Best not to confrot them or we become the criminals. This sucks

I dont know - I change and alter my plans based upon the present conition - I was planning to take my 9 year old to uptown over spring break to go to the bookstore - you think that is happening now? Not a chance.... Hse is upset and it is a little hard to explain to a 9 year old autistic kid that daddy may get his head blown off after some bad man asks for his wallet. This sucks.

I pray every day for the Officers of the Minneapolis PD - many of them I consider friends - I look out for them wherever possible. they are good folks.

The revolution is happening all around us - it is the gangsters against the world - white - black - somali - whatever - gangsters come in all forms. They are fighting a gurella war against us Citizens - trying to drag us down into their little pit of despair.

So far - they are doing a good job. Unfortunately - it has come to the point that if we do anything to stop them that would be real and effective - we go to the other side and that is not a side that I want to be on.
