I finally did it

I BROKE MY RCBS KINETIC PULLER

So long old pal - its been fun.... I have had that thing for like 20 years...

Anyone else broken one? I have heard that they are nearly impossible to break - the AL Shaft broke in 2 while QC Testing some 40's tonight.

I broke the screw-on cap on my RCBS puller after fewer than 50 pulls. And yes, I had the cap screwed on tight.

Took it back to Gunstop where I bought it and John told me I could call RCBS and get a free cap from them. I called RCBS and they had some weird phone hours and I never got back to them. I would have preferred that Gunstop swap me out for a new one, but I can appreciate their hassles, too.

I ended up blowing it off (I didn't really need one for a while), and bought a Crapford Arsenal one on an order from Midway. It has a more irritating collet setup than the RCBS one, but it's held up to pulling 20-30 very overcrimped .44 Special rounds from my initial die/toolhead setup on that caliber, and those took quite a smacking to take apart.

I don't know if my RCBS one is compatible with yours, but if you have the screw-on cap for yours you're welcome to what's left of mine (intact body and collet).
