Do you tend to run the training one-on-one or in a group?

I've bought 6 boxes of ammo since I started loading; 5 of those were PD .32 ACP loads and one was a box of .44 Mags, and I didn't really pay attention to the pricing of any of them.

I know that component prices are on the rise, but does anyone know if components are rising proportionate to loaded ammo?

Received 9500 projectiles today in the mail, 2k 185gr .45, 2k 135gr .40, 5k 135gr 9mm & 500 185gr 41, total delivered $314. The quality is good, not the best, but great for practice ammo at that price.

Can you provide more details, such as cost to attend, when you're thinking you might do it and for how long, etc. I've had an interest in reloading for some time but have yet to pursue it. In addition to whatever Pinnacle is offering (which I assume is kind of a demo of reloading in his home setup), I'd strongly recommend picking up a couple of reloading manuals, in particular Speer #13 and whatever else looks interesting (I have the Lyman, which is OK).

In addition to descriptions of reloading information for specific calibers, most of these manuals have a great educational section on the actual steps involved in reloading. The Speer manual is kind of skewed towards Speer/RCBS products, but keeps it neutral enough. The Lyman manual does a decent job as well, but with some info on using Lyman moulds and bullet casting.

The next thing to do would be to check out the on-line manuals of a specific reloading press which takes the process through a specific vendor's reloading press; especially consider looking at the online manuals for Dillon Precision's 550 and Square Deal B presses. These will give you a good idea what working a progressive press actually does and what the hands-on mechanical experience involves.

I think this gives you a pretty good technical/written background, which might make the "lab" at Pinnacle's more informative since you'll have some background as to what's going on.

Pinnacle, if you're super serious, you ought to consider seeing if you could rent the classroom at Burnsville Pistol. I don't know how practical it is to move your press, but it'd give you more space, even if you didn't load any live ammo. I'll bet for a community type event you could get it cheap and those interested could split the cost -- might make it a little easier than sitting in your basement/garage.

I do have the ABC's of Reloading book, which I guess is a start. I'll keep the others in mind. Thanks for the info.
