I'm flattered, humbled and awed by anyone willing and able to wade through my comic's archive. :D I think it's around 1600+ comics so far.

Dangit you had to go and say that...now the challenge is made...and I've got 3 new games I just picked up I was looking forward to playing!

Well, now I have something to do with that second computer on my desk again...

Oh well, anytime I've read through the full archives I've never been disappointed, and from what I've read so far in this thread that standard won't change!

Buy the books and it won't take near as long.

Actually, I'm finding myself preoccupied about the qualification for the shooting tomorrow. Although I've sent thousands of rounds through various handguns (.22 - .44 mag) the gun that I'll be bringing with me tomorrow if factory new and I haven't sighted it in myself yet. I guess as long as the group is tight and I promise to sight it in later?

Not to worry; we'll make it work.

So, is Joel going to make a cameo appearance in one of your strips?

There's always the possibility, especially if I bring Heather back for any substantial story arcs. :)

Hm. I woulda thought that storyline would involve Monica and her grandfather's hand cannon...

Can you tell I brushed up on the archives?

Awesomesauce! :D

By the way, in addition to being super informative, the class was by far one of the most enjoyable classes that I've taken. :D Thanks much!

I had a lot of fun. The young (and very cute, as well) soldier, newly back from Iraq, shot very well, too, unsurprisingly -- she was two points off a perfect score, and with a .40 she had borrowed from her boyfriend, who apparently understands he's a lucky guy) as did the teacher. (I'm told by SWMBO, who worked as my assistant, that he's cute, too, but I don't vibrate on that frequency.)

For those who are keeping score at home, yes, Pablo qualified with a .44 Magnum . . . loaded with .44 Special rounds, which is a very wise choice. And while I don't normally sell holsters, he did end up with one of my Mika pocket holsters; I was without a Mika holster in my pocket for close to an hour -- I keep spares, just for that sort of situation.

(Note: the Mika holsters have now gone up in price to a whole $21.95. They are, of course, as anybody who has been wise enough to procure one, still a steal . . . and would be, at twice the price.)

When i test drove the pocket holster it was like a magic trick! I couldn't believe that the gun came out and left the holster cleanly behind.

I still feel like a boob for being so nervous at the range, I was mostly nervous with being watched so closely. Although I know what I'm doing and very comfortable around a revolver, I was preoccupied that I'd bungle the qualification. I get nervous when people watch me drawing a picture too, but not that bad.

Just in case any of you want a very nice Monica figurine from Wapsi Square!

I was on the waiting list after preorders closed, and they just emailed me back and had a few available. I've got mine on the way but it looks like they may have a couple more here...

The preorders are open for her little dog too!

I can't spend ALL my money on guns and ammo! :D
