Stopped by Scheel's this afternoon after work.

They had .40 S&W (I'd say 20+ boxes/50 rd) and .45 ACP (8 boxes of 250 rd UMC 230 gr. fmj).

Since I have a 1911A1 in .45 ACP, I took notice of the price...............$99.99 per 250 round box***.

If I had $800 freed up, I would've snapped them up. But since I just bought a new rifle  , I couldn't.

Don't know the price on the .40 S&W. :?

***Cheapest I've seen these in Mankato in the past year was $115 at Gouger Mountain.

The only downfall to a 1911A1, is actually a plus: You can have it your way, and can put an unreal amount of money into em'.

Squeeze trigger, BANG, repeat. Kind of boring, but I never cared for drama.
