A really good price on belts from Cabela's. The sizes available are limited even though their web page doesn't show it.

So in this belt style, try a 34, 46 or 48 - Normally 54.99, now $8.95

I have one of the belts depicted in the first link - I am very happy with it - very sturdy - supports my carry gun (sig229) very well!

Mostly-

So you think $8.95 is a good price?

Also please note my mistake of -

It should be 34, 36, 46 or 48. But when I try to fix it, the links get screwed up, so I left it as is because I though the link more important than my typo.

I also have the same belt. Sturdy. I carry a full size 1911A1 in a OWB holster daily.

Only problem I have is, I lost too much weight and unless I have the belt tinkered with, it's too big for me now.

I recently bought a 1 3/4" wide Basketweave Ranger Belt of the same basic design, in brown (also from Cabela's), and I'm happy with it. Seems sturdier than the Outback Rodeo Ranger belt, but maybe that's 'cuz it's new. :?

The only downfall to a 1911A1, is actually a plus: You can have it your way, and can put an unreal amount of money into em'.

Squeeze trigger, BANG, repeat. Kind of boring, but I never cared for drama.

WAY better deal then the first one I bought for about $25 bucks, and the second one that was a 'steal' at $10.00. I bough the second one cause the price was too good to pass up... :bang:

Oh well...

They also have a true double thick belt there - costs is like $24 or so.

In the store, or mail order?

I don't need another belt, but sure would like a source for a good belt for less than $75 to steer my students towards.
