I think you've got some bleed over from your other hobbies. The avatar I am seeing is a smaller version of the "revolver and carry permit" image.

(I'm running IE7)

That is what I used to see, but in the last few days, on my Favorites list and on the tab at the top of IE7 I see Boba Fett's Helmet. :?

Aha, if you're talking about the tiny icon in the tab and in menus, I have had FireFox on my Mac get them mixed up between sites. Usually goes away if I quit & restart the program, as I recall.

[edited to add:] Yeah, it's not just you & me: google "wrong favicon".

If you squint and turn your head sideways, the tiny version of the revolver and permit could look a bit like the helmet...

:)

Believe it or not, I'm not going to call Moby crazy. I swear I had this same problem at some point last year, but didn't think anything of it.

I work in IT, so I spend so much time on machines that I literally can't remember if it was this site or a different one that did it.

Well, at least not for this...

Seriously, yeah, sometimes the favicons on web sites get wonky. I'm like you- I see so many of them as part of my job that I can't remember them one day to the next...
