Firefox is just slower from what I find, I do a lot of dial-up reading on here, I don't really have any issues, I certainly have slower sites I visit. I do right click and open in a new window a lot, let everything load that I want to see and then start reading.

Site seems to be running slow again. At home around 0430 and at work now.

This seems to happen, from time to time. I've had lots of conversations with Dreamhost tech support, but my theory is that what it really comes down to is that they do keep loading up servers until they're overloaded, then they buy more servers, move some accounts around, and the problems go away.
Which is to say that there's nothing much I can do when the site slows down, except to complain to Dreamhost. Which I do.

And Joel, I am in favor of letting you do the complaining.
I know you realize than no one here is complaining, just trying give a progress report about an ongoing annoyance.

Sure. That said, I don't have any problem with people complaining. Just as well; it would definitely suck to be me . . . .

Oh, bye the way Joel.
Thanks for a great forum. The few times it's slow, I realize how much I enjoy it and the regulars that frequent it.
