I'm phasing out my mm.rr.com email address so I'm trying to change my email address on the Forum to the Yahoo address I'm phasing in. When I submit the change, I get Sorry, but this e-mail address has been banned. Are Yahoo adresses banned?

TomK Mpls, MN Yup. Too many spammers use yahoo and hotmail, and neither Yahoo nor Hotmail has ever responded to my requests to kill spam accounts.

And if you really want to use yahoo mail for some reason, you can always setup a gmail account for use here that forwards all mail to your yahoo account.

Hey, how come Andrew gets to get up? If he gets up . . . we'll all get up . . . it'll be anarchy!

Yeah - gmail is pop3 compliant too. (You can use it with Outlook Express and others)
