As you may have seen, we'll be collecting for Toys for Tots at The New Thing.

If you can, please bring a new, unwrapped toy on Saturday. If you'd rather, you can bring cash, and we'll turn it into toys.

We still need a volunteer or two to handle various details; please donate an hour or so.

Thanks!

Andrew

Do they accept toy guns, or do they fear they will corrupt young, impressionable minds?

KARE 11 just had the Marines on and they need toys for teens. Just a suggestion if you are planning to bring a toy. Thanks.

Our chapter said toys for all age groups are welcome but they are hurting for 0-2 and 10-14 year old toys.

Not trying to funny or anything.

So I'm assuming a gift card would work for the 10-14 range? or do the "children" exchange these for drugs?

The Marine they interviewed last night said they go and use the gift cards to buy the gifts they need. They do not give a gift card to a child.
