no, the did not ask for a birth certificate, SSN, passport, etc etc they did take my Driver's License and photocopied it along with the permit, which I am still wondering about. |

Mounds view does that too, I was told it was to provide a photo id to match the permit if it was ever challenged. (identity theft sort of thing.) |

Which is idiotic, because a permit to purchase is useless without a picture ID anyhow. |
