It gets my vote.

Just went out dancing (not well; cant figure out how to get my wife to stop leading! :D ) last night. I was carrying in my standard way: SW642 in the front right pocket. I was wearing dress kahkis. No problems, I didnt even notice it.

If you arent going with Macx's solution (above) and are still looking for other options, I remembered a thread from a while back that might give you some inspiration.

We will have to meet up if you would like and go dancing sometime!

As far as getting your wife to stop leading get her to shut her eyes. That usually does it.

Well, I think a good pocket holster is going to have to do the trick.

Mr. Rosenburg suggested one that is made here by a company in MN but I don't remember the website. Does anyone know what that site is?

I know of someone who successfully carried a relatively clunky Cougar 9mm while swing dancing at the Tapestry and many other places around town. To do this, the person I know carried the gun in a Smart Carry holster. That kept it secure while my friend did all those crazy moves and none of the girls ever knew it was there. Supposedly, my friend got smacked in the junk one time accidentally, but the gun was not suspected.
So try a Smart Carry. I've had a lot of success with one myself.
And no, the dancer person was not me, just another guy with a Smart Carry.
