Did you buy it and it came in the mail? Did you make it? I am bit lost... I know a picture is worth a thousand words but...

Sorry for the extreme brevity.
I did indeed make it- my very first attempt at a holster. It turned out pretty well, other than the "fugly but functional" riveting job. It was actually easier than I at first thought it would be, to tell the truth.
It's my solution to the frustration of trying to find a holster that fit and concealed the way I want, in a left hand model, for a 3" SP101.

It looks like you did a nice job. Sometimes it's just better to do things yourself, plus you get the satisfaction that comes with doing the job.

Cool...It looks good. How long did it take you? I have often thought about doing one myself. I like it.

Great job! It looks like it works and is easy to wear.
You know we should have a get together where we make our own holsters. Now that would be great fun!

I didn't think of that. If my wife can go away for a crafting weekend, maybe the guys could?
I wonder if I could go along & work on a holster?

I'd be up for something like that. I think every gun person should try holster making at least once. If we got together we could share the best of each others ideas too.

I don't have the space, but if someone else does, and folks are interested, I'd be game to get together with folks and work on some holsters. Keep in mind, my experience is having made one, and having some ideas on what I'd do different next time. That said, I think there's some others around here with some experience...

Perhaps this could be part of the next New Thing meeting/party?

The only issue with a "Holster making party" would be that it tends to take an extended period (several days) to make one, in my limited experience. If the holsters were natural (not dyed) you could cut out one drying period, then we could construct them to the casing portion, and everyone would bring them home to dry. Using the style highlighted in these walk throughs. Or people could pick up some dye, and dye them at home.
Ideally It would be nice if we had someone who had made more then a couple holsters, but I would be willing to help out wherever I can. I have a selection of tools that I could bring, nothing fancy, but functional at least; unfortunately my space is somewhat limited as well.
