I got in the mail Friday a nice IWB from Mika's Holsters http://www.frontiernet.net/%7Eakim/waist.htm It's setup for a snubby .38/.357. I've used it two days now and it's bang for the buck wise one of the better deals I've gotten. I wont say it's a work of leather art, Mika uses a heavy vinyl but it's been very comfy, holding my 642 and belt well w/o shifting. I haven't tried reholstering yet as there's no mouth stiffening but for a concealed weapon I think that's on little importance. It does hold the weapon well and releases nicely when you draw, more is hard to get even IME at 4 times the price. BTW I don't know how it feels if one goes "commando", I had both a tee and briefs on between me ans the holster.

Mika has a strange thing going for him... I've yet to hear someone have a real beef with either him or his products... He's at the top of the heap as far as being genuinely concerned that his customers are happy.

I've ordered from him in the past, and I guarantee that he'll hear from me again...

He's never claimed to want to win beauty pageants with his gear, he just wants to make an affordable, functional holster - which he does very well.

+1

I've got one of his pocket holsters, and while it's certainly not fine art, it is an excellent little holster. Fits the SP101 like a glove. And he's great to work with- heck, he even will ship the holster to you and have you send the check when you receive it. How many other holster makers do that?
