I wanted a black gun belt so when I was at Tandy last I picked up all the components. During plblark's last holster session I sized it, finished the nose, burnished the edges and punched the holes (with some borrowed tools so thanks guys).

I learned some good ways to stain the leather from UBG Holsters owner and tried it out on the belt and turned out great. I put a top coat on to finish and seal the leather.

I think it turned out very good and works great as a gun belt! :D

Is it a plain belt blank from Tandy, or is it reinforced in some way to make it a gun belt?

Plain belt blank. No re-enforcement required (eg double leather) because the leather is @ 3/16 inch thick. It holds better than any normal gun belt I own. :D
