I would think that you would need to "dress around the gun" on that one!

DEfinitely dress around the gun but maybe not so much for those of us who are "well fed"

I just shot one of these for the first time last weekend, they are incredible. To carry one, I don't think so. I flinched so bad I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the dang thing. that and they are HUGE!

WOW....2 3/4" .50 MAGNUM IWB I have been thinking that I might like to have a Ruger .480 Alaskan. But I don't think I would carry the piece in concealment.
Maybe he needs IWB concealment so he is discreet for the grizzly bears

I think it could work, with a pair of reasonably roomy pants. Suspenders would help.

My shooting buddy has one of these....if I'm at the range with him, I make sure that is the LAST gun that I shoot, as it leaves my palms and wrists sore for a few days. I find it rather hard to handle without a little flinch while anticipating the recoil, even in SA. I've never even tried shooting it DA.
I'll be at Bill's north tonight with him. I always say that "I'll never shoot that thing again!" after a 5 round session, but I doubt I'll be able to resist!
(and by the way...nice picture Pat!)

I did some experimenting with my 10" 500 mag without a holster to see if it would be remotely concealable. I have to say that the handle and the thickness of the cylinder are the hardest part to conceal for me. The length of the barrel really wasn't that bad.
I think I could pull it off with a pair of baggy pants at least 4 inches bigger than what I would wear if not carrying and a long baggy sweatshirt or something. I would also need a WIDE and STIFF belt.

I'm thinking bib overalls. Be a great combo at a gun control rally.
